To make a movie on film without a camera is one thing, making it live is another. Performing a live soundtrack for a film as it's being made, is the ultimate challenge, but these Masters of cinema performance, have been perfecting it for over 25 years.
Experience this form of film projection. Fingering, stroking, grabing, scratching, staining, playing with loops of 16 mm film. Guided by the hosts, you will learn all the tricks of the adventurous projector-handler and push your limits as far as to consider the device's realm of possibilities as a musical instrument.
